Hello and welcome!

Let me introduce myself. I'm Mike Goatly, one of those software developers who got into programming at an early age and through a vigorous conditioning process trained my brain to operate exclusively in 1s and 0s, rather than the typical synaptic processes.

Progressing from Sinclair BASIC via a plethora of languages, including ARM Assembler and ADA (for a very short time) I've landed on C# and the .NET Framework, which I've been working with since the heady days of the very first .NET betas. I really enjoy writing high-performant framework-type code, have a look at my LIFTI project for an example that's open source.

I'm an irregular user of twitter, so don't expect too much from me if you accidently follow @mikegoatly.

Leave me a comment sometime!
